Modern Luxury’s Dallas Dynamic Women

KrIstIn MItchell
CO-CHAIRMAN OF BLUEJACK NATIONAL, PRESIDENT OF LANTERN FAMILY FOUNDATION

Meet Kristin Mitchell, a Dynamic Woman who compassionately leads the Lantern Family Foundation and co-chairs the luxurious Bluejack National. The private residential club is home to the nation’s first golf course designed by Tiger Woods, fishing lakes and The Sanctuary spa and fitness center, which Mitchell brought to life and features a cold plunge pool, wellness classes and a full-service coffee and juice bar.

“Iʼve learned that Itʼs Important to admIt your mIstakes, know your strengths and weaknesses, and only surround yourself wIth equally passIonate teammates.”

With an eye for design and a background in market research, Mitchell was the first female board member of Bluejack National. She introduced The Sanctuary, kids’ camps, a lauded schedule of programs, fresh menus and tennis and pickleball experiences, and nearby Round Top excursions.

This Dynamic Woman exudes confidence and impressively balances her roles at Bluejack National and Lantern Family Foundation with being a wife and a mother to five children. She strives to put forth the same energy and passion for everything she does. Mitchell appreciates that learning and growing are perpetual in life and works to instill that same mindset in her kids.

Devoted to serving the Dallas community, Mitchell is highly involved with Children’s Health through Lantern Family Foundation. She’s a member of the Children’s Medical Center Foundation Board and a board member and past president of the Children’s Women’s Auxiliary. Determined to provide all kids, regardless of their family’s financial situation, with comprehensive healthcare and mental health services, Mitchell hosts programs like behind-the-scenes experiences at Children’s Health to educate the community on the importance of having access to high-quality pediatric care. She also leads beloved fundraising events such as Family Night at Six Flags, set for April 2024.

“We’re committed to making a difference in the lives of children, and we believe that Children’s Health is the best place to do that right in our own backyard,” says Mitchell.
